- learnt how to roll from back to her front (see previous post 'I can roll over!')
- started gumming on everything
- is avidly watching us all eat to the point where Aunty Michelle is begging mum to let her eat something already!
- grasping onto her toys and anything else we give her to hold
- is bottlefeeding for 3 out of her 5 feeds as I still find it easier in the early morning and late night feeds to offer her the breast
- is now 7kgs which puts her on the 75th percentile
- started sucking on her index finger then moved onto sucking onto her thumb instead
It's been a challenging month in a lot of ways, the rash that started on the Entrance Holidays did not fully disappear and the unexpectedly came back in full force on her face, arms, chest and back. I was moisturising her 5 times a day and trying to wean her as well. She has now been prescribed another stronger steroid cream that is much more effective. Her little chin started bleeding last Friday so we made an impromptu trip to Auburn Hospital where the doctor advised us to get her onto a hypoallergenic formula.
Joss has been a wonderful big brother, he watches over her and plays with her. She gets very excited to see him and kicks her legs very fast.
