I can't keep up with Darcy - posted by Sylvia

Darcy has a new smile, it's the wrinkly nose, mischevious looking one. Very cute. Mum and dad are quite the pushovers when she turns it on.


She's pulling herself up and standing on her own already at 8 months. She especially loves the dishwasher handles. Nice and easy to haul herself up on. She also enjoys pulling herself up behind me while I'm washing the dishes and grunting urgently to be picked up.



To my everlasting disgust her first word a couple of weeks ago was 'dada'. I'm known as 'mmmbah'. Oh well at least the first syllable is correct.

Darcy adores her food. She eats three meals a day and snacks too like yoghurt and cheese. She can handle spaghetti bolognaise, fish dishes, chicken combos, beef and veggies, plus all sorts of veggies with white or tomato sauces. She can gnaw on all sorts of finger foods too.

Finally, joy of joys for Tung and I - she is back in her cot and sleeping through there. Lazy mum picks her up at around 5:30 and normally brings her back to bed with her.
